Front Range Biosciences® Expands Hemp Production with New Greenhouses in Denver

Boulder, Colorado –  Front Range Biosciences® (“FRB”), a leading agricultural biotech company specializing in breeding programs and tissue culture propagation for high-value crops,  announced today that it signed a lease expanding its production facilities in northern Colorado.

“This new production facility will be our largest,” said Jonathan Vaught, CEO, and co-founder of FRB. “Positioning the facility in Denver’s Greenhouse district gives us the footprint, layout, and facilities we need to scale to the markets that have just opened up thanks to the passage of the Farm Bill. And of course, we’re always happy to develop in ways that create more jobs for our hometown.”

Represented by commercial broker Karla Brown of The Colorado Group, FRB’s lease of this new facility will add some 42,985 square feet of greenhouse and industrial warehouse space to the FRB production area.

The facility was formerly part of the Center Greenhouse properties located in north Denver.  The renovated greenhouses will be equipped with supplemental lighting and climate control designed for the production of high-quality transplants and seed for industrial hemp growers.
